Fill Your Mind With Positivity

A crucial part of my success with my weight loss journey has been what I put into my mind. It sounds cheesy and a little silly but the reality is that pumping positive information into your mind works. What we tell ourselves and what we listen to will 100% have an impact over time. Eventually our mind will start to believe what it hears. Telling yourself "I can do this" or even the lesser version such as "I can't do this yet" is much better than telling yourself "I can't do this." There is no upside to telling yourself you can't do something.

I recently posted about this on my TikTik channel and was asked many times about some of the favorite things I listen to. I thought I would share 2 specific videos that I listen to on a regular basis.

I started listening to these 2 videos at a minimum of 1 time per week while working out and it was not uncommon to listen to them in the morning when I was getting ready. I would especially make sure I was working these in if I felt I was in a bad space mentally. I'd put on my headphones, crank up the volume and start working out while I listen to the audio. Whenever I would feel emotions or thoughts I would channel them into the workout.

Give it a try. Put on these videos and spend some time digging into your mind. Ask yourself the tough questions. Give yourself the honest answers.

Video 1 - Chase Your Greatness

This first video is my absolute favorite. I have been listening to this video 1 time per week (often more) for the last 1.5 years. The messages in this are powerful.

Video 2 - Hard Times

This second video talks about hard times. Let me tell you, with weight loss and anything else that takes work and dedication, there will be hard times. A favorite line from this video is a quote from Les Brown and it goes "hard times have not come to stay but have come to pass!" and it is true. In the moment you may not believe that but hearing it makes it easier to believe it.
