Group Coaching
My 6 moths signature 1:1 coaching program contains a 6 week long education segment that I call “The fundamentals of weight loss” and in that segment I cover all of the basics a person would need to know for slow, steady, and sustainable weight loss.
I am talking about you losing weight without giving up all of the foods you enjoy and without a crazy list of do’s and do not’s that are quite honestly, unsustainable.
In the program, I am going to talk about strategies that will help you with your weight loss as it relates to food, the body and the mind.
However, while there is plenty of learning happening, there will be plenty of support, encouragement, and community.
Fundamentals of Weight Loss
The classes below are available for enrollment.
Team 1
Meets on Tuesdays at 12-1:30pm CST
Team 2
Meets on Tuesdays at 5:00 - 6:30 PM
You will notice that each class is referred to as a team. Weight loss is a battle and journey that needs to be walked on your own power, but that doesn't mean it needs to be unsupported. Each group coaching class should support each other through encouragement. Not as a competition, not to see who can lose the most weight. We are all on the same journey and we will do better if we can get this done together.
Program Overview
Within my signature 1:1 coaching program I have a 6 week long education segment that I call “The fundamentals of weight loss” and in that segment I cover all of the basics a person would need to know for slow, steady, and sustainable weight loss. I have modified this program and adapted it for a group coaching setting to help you on your weight loss journey!
In the program, I am going to talk about strategies that will help you with your weight loss as it relates to food, the body and the mind.
The program is broken up into 6 sessions with a different focus each week.
Week 1 - The Mindset of Weight Loss
In this week I’ll talk about why old diets have failed and talk about mindsets that are crucial for success. This is the foundational groundwork for success.
Week 2 - Introduction to Calories
In this week I will demystify and simplify calorie-based eating. Stripping away all the unnecessary elements and focusing on the most important elements of weight loss. It in this lesson that you will learn how to calculate your calorie targets and how best to get starte with tracking.
Week 3 - Living that CICO Life
This session I'll talk about how to actually integrate calorie tracking into your life. How do you handle special occasions such as birthday parties, work functions, lunch out with friends. What about cheat meals? Random bouts of hunger? I am going to cover all of that in week 3.
Week 4 - Ditch Motivation
Motivation is for suckers and in successful weight loss can't rely on wilpower alone. In week 4 I'll talk about how you can shape your world to keep you on track with minimal effort.
Week 5 - Avoiding the Traps
There are many pitfalls that can inadvertently trip up your weight loss success. In week 5 I will talk about the 6 things that can slow or kill your weight loss progress so you can avoid them now!
Week 6 - Putting it all Together
In this final week I am going to give you techniques and concepts designed to help you tie everything together into a cohesive strategy and set the stage for your future weight loss success.
